About Executive Wellness

 

The primary function of Executive Wellness is to deliver an in-dept personalized clinical screening programme targeted at Senior Leaders within an Organization to help our employers and clients with tools and research to support and retain their Executives.  This service provides individuals with insight and support in all areas of mental and physical wellbeing, through a team of highly qualified experts with access to the latest health and wellness technology.

 

Job Purpose:

 

To provide a 30 – 45-minute consultation and physical examination as part of the Executive Comprehensive Medical Assessment at specified locations in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, and Cape Town, to clients who avail themselves for this screening programme.  

Booked consultations are based on a client and location availability therefore the role is on a locum basis with a value-based fee for service remuneration model.

 

Key Outputs:

 

 

  • Meeting and receive the client at the respective location following the completion of completed pathology, clinical and functional assessments.

 

  • Review and interpret results from the pathology, clinical and functional assessments in preparation for the consultation.

 

  • Consult with the client focusing on:

 

    • Interpreting the outcomes and results of the pathology tests, clinical and functional assessment.
    • Medical History review
    • Chronic Disease Management
    • Review and analysis of medicine.
    • Exploring mental health and wellbeing
    • Monitor and track progress against previous results where applicable.
    • Onward referrals, recommendations and or writing of prescriptions.

 

  • Physical examination consisting of:

 

    • Temperature, Ophthalmoscopy, Ear, Nose and Throat
    • Skin and mole inspection.
    • Cardiovascular:  Heart sounds, murmur, pulse
    • Respiratory:  Bilateral air entry, wheeze, crepitations
    • Gastro-intestinal:  Bowel sounds, liver, spleen, and abdominal palpitation.
    • Breast/Testis examination
    • Neurological: Cranial nerves, Patella reflex, Plantar reflex

 

  • Provide a feedback report on the client which will be included in an overall encompassing wellness report.

 

Education and Qualification

 

Essential:

 

  • Medical degree/Bachelor of Medicine /Bachelor of Surgery
  • Registration with the HPCSA and BHF
  • Professional and public liability insurance appropriate to the nature of your profession
  • At least 6 years’ experience in your respective profession.

 

Advantageous:

 

  • Experience in Executive wellness service delivery and industry.

 

Skills requirement:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management
  • Empathy, building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Passion for people, enthusiasm, energy, and drive.
