Business Analyst

Job Summary

The Business Analyst role is responsible for independently eliciting, analysing, and translating business requirements into functional and product specifications, validating delivered solutions, and acting as a trusted consultant to business stakeholders across integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant to business stakeholders, challenging assumptions and clarifying intent.
• Develop business cases aligned to strategic and operational objectives.
• Produce and validate Customer and Product Requirements Specifications.
• Design functional solutions considering system interfaces and dependencies.
• Define and execute testing approaches, supporting UAT and sign-off.
• Manage project documentation, risks, scope, and delivery tracking.
• Review junior analyst artefacts and provide validation feedback.
• Support live environments through incident analysis and stakeholder communication.

Skills

Qualifications

• Matric.
• Informatics or Other Relevant Degree.

Certifications

• Advanced UML course
• BPMN Course
• PM training or qualification

Work Experience

• 5 years Business Analysis experience.
• Business experience & product knowledge (Advantageous)
• Integration experience with 3rd party vendors or multiple inter-dependencies (Advantageous)
