Key Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide analytical insights to optimize sales and lead performance, engage with brokers to drive growth, and implement strategies to enhance overall business efficiency.
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to
- Provide innovative, analytical insights and recommendations to optimize lead performance and sales across multiple distribution channels.
- Engage with brokers to enhance existing business opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing sales metrics to help identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist in successfully implementing new business growth strategies.
- Support the preparation and reporting of growth strategy progress to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of reports to support the distribution teams in their daily activities and strategic planning.
- Assist in developing and maintaining analytical models to monitor business growth performance.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business growth objectives and data-driven decision-making.
- Support the implementation of innovative strategies to enhance overall business growth and efficiency.
Skills
- Modelling skills preferred (Basic)
- Programming Skills: VBA & SQL (Intermediate)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) (Advanced).
Education and Experience
Education:
- Matric
- Degree in Actuarial Science and/or Mathematical Statistics/ Computer Science or outstanding Bachelor of Commerce finance/marketing/insurance analytics candidate (Advantageous)
- Min 3-5 completed CT subjects (Essential)
- Honors (Advantageous)
Minimum Experience:
- 0-3 years’ experience within the Insurance industry (Advantageous)
