Key Purpose
To protect the legal interests of the Group and thereby contribute to the success of all businesses in the Group.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Providing primarily contract management, legal and administrative support solutions to Discovery Group.
- Providing secondary contract legal support services to Discovery Corporate- Central services.
- Promptly resolving system queries, maintenance and support concerns and monitoring licensing requirements in collaboration with internal and external technical teams.
- Regularly collating and updating contract information to ensure the accuracy of the data on the contract repository.
- Collating contracts and generating reports to meet audit, risk and compliance requests.
- Capturing contract information and loading contracts onto in-house software application (Asset Portfolio Management).
- Providing training to different business areas making use of the in-house contract management system.
- Regularly engaging with various business owners to ensure the proper management around contractual terms.
- Document management.
- Leading, collaborating and providing solutions with technical teams for enhancement phases and projects regarding the in-house contract management system.
- Mapping processes for system enhancement and to enable an efficient user experience.
- Regular and ad hoc reporting to meet business needs.
- Regular assessment of the technical and practical effectiveness of the in-house contract management system to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
- Assist with the rollout of new software for the in-house contract management system from time to time.
- Identifying and managing any risks associated with the in-house contract management system.

Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience
