Key Purpose
The primary function of this role is to effectively respond and handle e-mail queries and changes from a client and 3rd parties.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:
- Ensure daily individual targets are met as a collective to reach daily TWT (Todays work today) on Credit control pools.
- Managing all queries through to resolution for effective service delivery.
- Collection of Arrear premium and reconciliation of the premiums to ensure that the policies are up to date.
- Understand the Discovery Life Product and processes to effectively respond to queries and process changes.
- Excellent interpretation of written requests/queries to provide high quality service.
Education and Experience
Essential:
- Matric
- 1-2 years’ experience in Insurance
- 1+ years call centre experience
Advantageous:
- Related Degree /Diploma
- 1 – 2 years of working experience within an administrative role in the financial services / insurance industry
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Essential:
- Communications skills ( written and verbal)
- Problem solving skills
- Analytic skills
- Good time Management skills
- Excellent customer service ability
Advantageous:
- Good understanding of Discovery Life products, processes, and systems
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management
- Retention knowledge
