Key Purpose
To transport the Healthcare professional to and from appointments. To transport medical samples to designated locations.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Required to fulfil collection functions pertaining to laboratory samples and medical documents to maintain client portfolios
- Collect blood samples from drop-boxes and/or addresses for the purpose of medical underwriting
- Ensure all work is followed up on and is in line with documented Service level agreements
- Maintain discretion of client’s personal information to ensure confidentiality is not in breach.
Education and Experience
Essential:
- Matric
- 2-3 years working experience as a commercial driver
- Must have mental ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc.
Advantageous:
- Advanced driving course
- Graduation from accredited commercial driving school
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Essential:
- Valid commercial Class A or B (Code 8 or 10) SA driver’s license.
- No traffic offences within the past 12 months.
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Strong team player
- Pro-active and energetic
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle pressure
- Willingness to work overtime
- Strong admin skills.
Advantageous:
- Knowledge of the Insurance medicals
