Key Purpose
The Architect of Enablement and Financial Credibility. This role drives the "how" and "when" of technical execution while serving as the strategic liaison between the COE and Business Units. As a Chartered Accountant, you bring unimpeachable financial authority to systems conversations - translating business pain points into prioritized, value-backed solutions. You ensure that "Group Finance Systems Solution Enablement" delivers tangible business outcomes, freeing the Head to focus on long-term transformation and executive stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
Trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders across Business Units; leverage accounting credibility to challenge requirements and shape demand
Finance-Led Solution Design
Apply deep accounting expertise to ensure OneStream configurations align with IFRS standards, consolidation logic, and financial reporting integrity
End-to-End Delivery Leadership
Own the project lifecycle from requirement validation through UAT; ensure technical team meets committed deadlines and quality standards
Problem Structuring & Synthesis
Deconstruct ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable solution designs; present complex trade-offs in financial terms that resonate with Finance leadership
Value Realization & Business Case Ownership
Quantify ROI, efficiency gains, and risk reduction for all major initiatives; track and report realized benefits post-implementation
Innovation & Enablement
Identify OneStream MarketPlace solutions, automation opportunities, and AI/ML use cases that advance the modern finance vision; pilot and scale innovations
Velocity Management
Balance speed with quality; ensure the COE maintains high delivery throughput without burning out the technical team or compromising financial controls
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Align Finance, IT, and business stakeholders around shared priorities; resolve conflicts using financial and operational data as objective arbiters
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- 3+ years in Finance Transformation, Systems Implementation, or EPM Consulting, with 3+ years leading OneStream or equivalent EPM delivery teams
- Experience in complex, multi-entity environments with sophisticated consolidation and reporting requirements
- Financial Expertise: Deep knowledge of consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, IFRS reporting, and financial close processes
- OneStream Solution Design: Implementation methodology, MarketPlace solutions, and platform configuration
- Business Case Development: ROI modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and value tracking
