About Discovery HealthCare Services (DHCS)

Key purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for the front reception area at Discovery Sandton as well the first point of contact for all other Discovery managed clinics. Interacting with customers and service providers requires a professional, formal manner with a focus on delivering excellent service and completing all tasks efficiently.


Key Outputs

  • Managing the Discovery Wellness Centre reception
  • Responding and attending to employees’ appointments
  • Assisting and directing patients to the correct practitioner
  • Managing bookings for all Discovery managed clinics
  • Logging calls for office maintenance and TI issues
  • Compilation of data for reporting, MBR surveys, sick leave reports among other things
  • Supporting the onsite practitioners with filing, billing, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Responding to and attending to emails, calls, queries, and medical practitioners’ diaries
  • Ensuring blood samples are taken to the lab timeously

Experience and Qualifications

  • Matric
  • MS Office and PC literate
  • A communications qualification is advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service and administration experience
