Key Purpose of the role
The vacancy is for a communications analyst who will be responsible for drafting internal and external communication within Discovery Corporate and Employee Benefits. The communication will relate to operational changes, product changes, system and process enhancements and legislative requirements. The candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills and be able to deliver high quality work under pressure.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:
- Consult with stakeholders and gather the information required to produce communication.
- Draft content for stakeholder publications.
- Update and draft new forms and operational emails and letters as and when required by the business.
- Update and maintain the communication library, index and websites.
- Brief content into Marketing/Agency and monitor and manage the delivery.
- Organise and prioritise work to deliver on agreed deadlines.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following competencies:
- Excellent communication Skills: able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Reporting Skills: ability to consolidate information and compile reports reflecting the necessary relevant information
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Self- motivated and a team player
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Probes for further information or greater understanding to produce accurate, high-quality content.
- Relates well to people at all levels.
