Key Purpose
The Administration of transfers i.e. Normal transfers (Withdrawal and Retirement), Section 14 & Section 50 transfers from other Insurers/Companies to Discovery’s platform.
Objectives of this role
- Processing of transfers in (Section 50, Section 14 and Normal ) from other Insurers/Companies onto Discovery’s platform.
- Handling telephonic and email queries from policy holders, financial advisors, franchises and other Insures/Companies
Responsibilities
- Processing of all transfer types i.e Section 14, Section 50 and Normal (withdrawal and Retirements).
- Requesting and following up on all outstanding documents with external companies, financial advisors, franchises and client’s
- Dealing with queries via email and taking of inbound calls with a possibility of outbound calls also.
- Dealing with escalations and ensuring that recovery on service failures are resolved timeously.
- Relationship building with financial advisors and internal and external colleagues.
- Monitoring of the task list to ensure all cases are within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Assist with the manual capturing of applications.
- Assisting with testing and system implementations
- Ensure that quality standards are met at all times.

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to articulate, educate and clearly communicate ideas and requirements in a persuasive and compelling manner to various stakeholders
- Has detail-oriented focus when developing requirements specifications such as Business and Functional Requirements documentation
- Able to package solutions to deliver against a plan and responsible for outcomes
- Ability to manage roll out and post implementation processes

Qualifications
- Matric
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- A Minimum of solid 0 – 1 years
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
