Key Purpose of the role
The Learnership is a learning experience that enables the learner to achieve a national qualification that is registered on the National Qualifications Framework and gain workplace experience in the Short-Term Insurance Industry.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Learners are exposed to the Short-Term Insurance business industry.
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- Maths (Minimum Level 4 – 50%) (Essential)
- English (Minimum Level 4 – 50%) (Essential)
- Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 - 60% or higher) (Essential)
- 2nd language (e.g. home language; Minimum Level 4 – 50%) (Essential)
Qualifying criteria for learnerships:
- Applicant must be a South African citizen by birth, between 18 and 25 years old in the year of the learnership (i.e., 2027)
- Applicants must not have a completed tertiary education qualification.
- Applicants must not be studying during the period of the learnership.
- Applicants should not have any formal work experience.
- Unemployed
- Not being engaged in any post Matric studies
- Not have completed any previous Learnerships
