About the role

As the Manager of Vitality travel, this position is responsible for managing and overseeing all travel-related products and services. This includes ensuring the efficient operation of travel programs, enhancing customer experiences, and driving the strategic direction of travel offerings.

 

Job Purpose

Outputs may include but are not limited to:

 

Travel Product Ownership: Manage and oversee travel-related products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives.

 

Innovation: Drive process automation and implement new technologies to improve travel services

 

Customer Experience: Work with product and CX teams to implement innovative and user-centric travel solutions and services.

 

Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement travel strategies.

 

Stakeholder Management: Ensure effective and optimal management, co-ordination and communication of all external and internal travel stakeholders

 

Marketing and Communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective travel product marketing and communication strategies.

 

Operational Readiness: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure travel products are operationally ready and meet quality standards.

 

 

 

Education / Qualifications / Accreditations with Professional Body

 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

 

Work Experience

 

5 years of experience in owning and delivering products and services.

 

Management consulting experience (advantageous)

Strong knowledge of business processes, change management methodologies, and project management principles

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and address complex business challenges

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders

Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices

 

Knowledge of process automation and innovative travel technologies (advantageous)

 

Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing initiatives

 

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
