Key purpose
The Discovery Bank Digital Channel and Customer Value Management team is seeking a Campaign Consultant to complete a six-month secondment as part of the team responsible for sending, monitoring and reporting on email and mobile app communications. The team also manage other digital channels for Discovery Bank such as the website, WhatsApp, Discovery AI, and social media.

The campaign consultant will play a crucial role in managing campaign calendars, campaign reporting and driving exceptional client servicing practices. Furthermore, the consultant will provide support to the product owners on a range of marketing and digital projects and integrated marketing campaigns across various digital marketing channels.

Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to

  • Managing various CVM, website and other campaign calendars to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed on the nature and objectives of scheduled campaigns.
  • Monitoring and supporting campaigns processes, including template building, webpage creation, testing, scheduling, quality assurance, and deployment of content-driven campaigns.
  • Owning and contributing to the creation and monitoring of intuitive, informative and client-focused user journeys across all digital platforms that allow for easy navigation and enhance the Discovery Bank brand experience. 
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including different portfolios within the Discovery Bank marketing team and cross-departmental teams, to help achieve company and business unit objectives.
  • Providing feedback on campaign results during various stages of sending, as well as supporting the Campaign Specialist with comprehensive reporting post-campaign results.
  • Working closely with the Discovery Bank teams to ensure consistent, client-centric experiences.

Education and experience

  • Minimum 3-year undergraduate degree or diploma
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant fields (marketing, digital marketing, campaign management, communications)
  • Experience working on Everlytic and Salesforce would be an advantage

HTML experience would be an advantage.
