Key Purpose

As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with expertise in Data Analytics, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Power Platform environment, developing custom solutions, and leveraging data analytics tools to derive actionable insights. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform components, strong development skills, and the ability to harness data for informed decision making.

 

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

  • Power Platform development administration
    • Administer and maintain Microsoft Power Platform environments, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance.
    • Configure and manage Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI components.

 

  • Custom Solution Development
    • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient and user-friendly applications.

 

  • Integration and Automation:
    • Integrate Power Platform with other Microsoft and third-party applications, creating seamless workflows and automating business processes.
    • Implement data connectors and APIs to enhance system interoperability.

 

  • Data Analytics:
    • Utilize Power BI to design and develop interactive reports and dashboards.
    • Apply advanced analytics techniques to extract valuable insights from data and support data driven decision making.

 

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for enhanced efficiency.
    • Conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

 

  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security policies to safeguard data within the Power Platform environment.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.

 

  • User Training and Support:
    • Provide training sessions to users on Power Platform tools and features.
    • Offer technical support and guidance to users, addressing queries and issues in a timely manner.

Education and Experience

  • Microsoft Certified:
  • PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker
  • PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
  • PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
  • DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI (advantageous)
  • 2 years Microsoft 365 application experience
  • 2 years PowerPlatform development and administration
  • 2 years PowerBI development
  • Expert Knowledge of:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Co-pilot Studio
  • Power Automate Desktop
