Key Purpose
To support the business in aligning to the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to
- Conduct risk assessment, deep dives and ad hoc risk investigations to help the business identify and mitigate risks
- Proactively identify trends by conducting root cause analysis, following up on action plans and logging of all risk incidents.
- Assist in the collation and preparation of risk reports/assessments as directed by BU risk officer
- Provide ongoing support and monitoring of business KRI’s and investigate any deviations from agreed metrics.
- Consult with other business entities within the Group on trends and drive initiatives to address key trends.
- Project Risk Management – Oversight, risk assessments involvement as and when required.
Education and Experience
Education:
- Matric (Essential)
- Bachelor of Commerce: Risk or Finance
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years of business operational experience
- 2 years experience in risk management.
