Key Purpose
The Dual Scheme Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Umbrella Fund Operations and Group Risk Billing within the Retirement Funds business unit. This includes managing Retirement Fund disciplines—such as contributions, claims, transfers, and regulatory processes—and administering Group Risk policies, reassurance premiums, Vitality billing, broker changes, and related queries. The role ensures accurate integration of fund data and financial transactions, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and continuous improvement of processes. The incumbent supports strategic initiatives to streamline fund consolidation, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver committed services to clients, while actively contributing to change management and team motivation.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

- Reconciliation and investments as per Conduct Standard of Contributions as per Employer payroll
- Section 13A non-compliance prepping and communication to Employers and Members
- Communication of certificates as per the Regulatory and SLA requirement, member, paid up, investments and benefit statements
- Capturing Contribution data in register
- Query management
- Audit queries

Education and Experience
- Matric (required)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 3 to 5 years working experience within a Group Life Administration environment and Retirement Fund
- System {MIP} Sonata and Compass.
- 3 to 5 years working experience within a Group Life Administration environment and Retirement Fund.
- Exposure to Employee Benefits (Group Risk and/or Umbrella Funds) (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience working with internal systems, workflows, or service platforms (advantageous)
